The new monographic issue, Ageing and Medieval Spiritualities, is edited by Mireia Comas-Via and Araceli Rosillo-Luque.
The fascicolo analyzes the theme of ageing in the Middle Ages, beginning with experiences of ageing within ecclesiastical institutions (I. Ageing and Religious Life), moving through institutional welfare mechanisms in late medieval Iberia and Sicily (II. Ageing and Assistance), ending with the symbolic notions of ageing and its positive spiritual connotations (III. Ageing and Spiritual Representations).
