Formazione ed esperienza accademica e professionale

È professore associato presso il Pontificio Istituto Biblico di Roma.
È co-editrice del Historical and Theological Lexicon of the Septuagint, vol II e membro di FSCIRE.
Ha conseguito l’Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale come Professore Associato (MIUR) e insegna presso il Pontificio Istituto Biblico di Roma. Ha conseguito il dottorato in esegesi biblica presso la Facoltà di Teologia Cattolica dell'Università di Strasburgo (Francia). Ha svolto parte della sua ricerca dottorale presso l'École Biblique et Archéologique Française di Gerusalemme, presso Cambridge University e l'École Française de Rome (EFR). Nel 2018 - 2019 è stata ricercatrice (progetto ANR, "Pluritext") presso la Facoltà di Teologia Cattolica dell'Università di Strasburgo dove ha anche insegnato a tempo pieno Antico e Nuovo Testamento e lingue bibliche (Attachée Temporaine de l’Enseignement et de la Recherche, dal 2015 al 2018). Dal 2012 Daniela Scialabba è membro del comitato redazionale del Historical and Theological Lexicon of the Septuagint (Mohr Siebeck, Tubinga) di cui è più ufficialmente coordinatrice scientifica dal 2020. Inoltre, collabora a diversi progetti internazionali sullo studio della Settanta. Le sue ricerche riguardano l'Antico Testamento (ebraico e greco) e la letteratura ebraica in greco. Ha pubblicato: Creation and Salvation. Models of Relationship between the God of Israel and the Nations in the Book of Jonah, in Psalm 33 (MT and LXX) and in the Novel 'Joseph and Aseneth' (F.A.T. II/106, Mohr Siebeck, Tübingen, 2019) che ha ricevuto il Premio Alberigo 2018 dalla European Academy of Religion. È anche autrice di articoli e co-editrice di una breve introduzione agli studi sulla Settanta, pubblicata in italiano e in spagnolo, e di altri volumi sulla lessicografia e il retroterra ellenistico di questa antica versione della Bibbia. È membro di diverse associazioni scientifiche (ABI, ACFEB, EuARe, IOSCS, SBL). Inoltre, è membro del Consiglio direttivo della International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies (IOSCS); per la stessa organizzazione è membro della giuria esaminatrice per l’attribuzione del Premio internazionale Wevers Prize e del comitato scientifico editoriale della collana internazionale Septuagint and Cognate Studies (SCS). Inoltre, è chair della Hellenistic Judaism Unit per l’International meetings della Society of the Biblical Literature (SBL) e membro del comitato direttivo della commissione Biblical Lexicography (SBL).
