Formazione ed esperienza accademica e professionale

È attualmente Professore stabile (Professore associato con ASN) presso il Pontificio Istituto Biblico di Roma.

È membro del collegio docenti del DREST, il Dottorato di Interesse Nazionale in Studi Religiosi, dal 2022.

È co-editrice (con E. Bons) dell’ Historical and Theological Lexicon of the Septuagint, vol. II.

È membro del comitato scientifico editoriale della collana internazionale Septuagint and Cognate Studies (SCS) dell’International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies (IOSCS) patrocinata dalla “Society of Biblical Literature” (SBL).

Da agosto 2021 a dicembre 2024 è membro della Steering Commitee della Biblical Lexicography section della “Society of Biblical Literature” (SBL).

Nel febbraio 2021 diventa professore inviato presso l’Istituto Patristico “Augustianianum” di Roma.
Da febbraio 2021 a dicembre 2023 è chair della “Hellenistic Judaism Unit” per gli International meetings della “Society of the Biblical Literature” (SBL).
Dallo stesso anno è entra a far parte dei membri della Fondazione per le scienze religiose come Coordinatrice Scientifica de l’Historical and Theological Lexicon of the Septuagint (HTLS).

Dal 2020 al 2022, è stata coordinatrice scientifica dell’Historical and Theological Lexicon of the Septuagint (Mohr Siebeck, Tubinga), del quale era già membro del comitato redazionale dal 2012
Da luglio 2020 è membro del Consiglio direttivo della International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies.
Da agosto 2020 è membro della giuria esaminatrice per l’attribuzione del Premio internazionale “Wevers Prize” dell’IOSCS; da settembre è membro della Commissione per le nomine dell’Associazione scientifica.

Nel novembre del 2019 le viene attribuito il Premio Accademico Alberigo Award 2018 della Fondazione per le Scienze Religiose per la tesi di dottorato Creation and Salvation. Models of Relationship between the God of Israel and the Nations in the Book of Jonah, Psalm 33 (MT and LXX) and the novel Joseph and Aseneth (F.A.T. II/106, Mohr Siebeck, Tübingen, 2019).
La premiazione è avvenuta durante la conferenza annuale dell’European Academy of Religion, il 5 marzo 2019.

Da settembre 2018 a febbraio 2020 ottiene un contratto di ricerca postdottorale nel progetto franco-tedesco ANR/DFG “Pluritext - Thinking from the Margins: Textual Plurality Outside the Masoretic Tradition” presso l’Università di Strasburgo.

Da settembre 2017 ad agosto 2018 è docente a tempo pieno in Scienze Bibliche presso la Facoltà di Teologia Cattolica dell’Università di Strasburgo.
Il 30 novembre 2017 difende la tesi di dottorato in Teologia Cattolica (esegesi biblica dell’Antico Testamento) presso l’Università di Strasburgo (relatore di tesi: prof. Eberhard Bons).

Nel maggio 2016 e maggio 2017 effettua un soggiorno di ricerca presso l’École Française de Rome.

Da settembre 2015 ad agosto 2017 ottiene un contratto A.T.E.R. presso la Facoltà di Teologia Cattolica dell’Università di Strasburgo.

Da febbraio 2012 a gennaio 2015 è dottoranda borsista nel quadro del Programma di Eccellenza presso la Facoltà di Teologia Cattolica dell’Università di Strasburgo; nella medesima università ottiene un contratto di ricerca a tempo determinato da febbraio 2015 ad agosto dello stesso anno.

Da ottobre 2013 a giugno 2014 effettua un soggiorno di ricerca presso l’École Biblique et Archéologique Française di Gerusalemme; nei mesi di ottobre e novembre 2014 soggiorna presso la University of Cambridge, Faculty of Divinity, Tyndale House.

Nel 2011 ottiene l’abilitazione all’insegnamento della religione cattolica (IRC) a Palermo e a novembre consegue la licenza in Teologia Biblica cum laude presso la a Pontificia Facoltà Teologica di Sicilia, discutendo una tesi intitolata: La conversione dei pagani in Giuseppe e Aseneth e Atti degli Apostoli. Modelli a confronto.

Nel settembre 2007 consegue il baccellierato in S. Teologia cum laude presso la Pontificia Facoltà Teologica di Sicilia “San Giovanni Evangelista”, a Palermo.

Nel 1998 ha ottenuto il diploma di maturità classica presso il Liceo Classico “Vittorio Emanuele II” di Palermo.
